Spanish government spokesman: Any decisions on Gibraltar must be approved by Spain

A spokesman for the Spanish government recently crossed the wires repeating that any decisions about the future status of Gibraltar in the Brexit agreement must be approved by Spain, as reported by Reuters. 

Earlier in the day, following his conversation with British Prime Minister Theresa May, Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez, via Twitter, said that if there were no changes on Gibraltar text, they would veto the Brexit deal.
