US: Annual core-PCE price index at 2.0% in July vs. 1.9% previous

According to the report released by the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Price Index bettered consensus estimates and ticked higher to 2.3% y/y in July. Excluding food and energy, the core PCE price index also edged up to 2.0% y/y as compared to 1.9% previous.
