Eurozone flash CPI eases in December, core CPI ticks higher

According to Eurostat’s flash reading of Eurozone CPI report, the annual reading arrived a tad weaker at 1.4% in December, coming in line with expectations. Meanwhile, the core figures edged slightly higher to 1.1% in the reported month, beating expectations of a 1.0% reading.
