AUD/NZD hovering around 1.0800
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/NZD started the week hovering around 1.08000, at the same price level it closed Friday. Last week the pair finished practically unchanged after the Aussie failed to sustain gains.
AUD/NZD again rejected from 1.0900
Last Tuesday the AUD/NZD soared to 1.0946 after RBA’s statement, hitting a 7-week high but weakened afterwards and reversed sharply falling toward 1.0800. Gain momentum again and on Thursday rose back above 1.0900, but once again failed to hold and fell sharply on Friday, ending the week around 1.0800 after hitting a 4-day low at 1.0790.
At the moment of writing the AUD/NZD is trading at 1.0805/10, flat for the day; moving in short-term trading range between 1.0790 and 1.0820.
