AUD/JPY remains between 93.00 and 94.00

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The AUD/JPY finished last week with small losses at 93.60 and started Monday trading around 93.50, on a quiet note after climbing to test Friday's highs at 93.70 and bottoming at 93.39.

On Friday the AUD/JPY trimmed losses following the NFP report. The strength of the Yen after US economic number was offset by a sharp increase in the Aussie that boosted the pair toward fresh weekly highs.

AUD/JPY range persists

Since the beginning of the year the AUD/JPY is moving sideways, between 93.00 and 94.00. Several times traded outside the mentioned range but it was unable to hold and bounce back.

Above 94.00, resistance comes at 94.20 (December 12 highs) and 94.60 (November 19 hihgs). To the downside support could be located at 92.90 (January 3 low) and 92.50.
